"When my friend Geoff shared his vision of creating the Heroes’ Turn Foundation to support military members and law enforcement personnel, I thought it was an incredible mission centered on serving those who serve others. At the time, I never imagined that my own family and I would one day benefit from that support.
I have served in the United States Army, both on Active Duty and in the Army National Guard, for more than 13 years and I am currently a sheriff’s deputy with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. This most recent deployment was one of the most unique and challenging due to the short notice involved. I was given approximately one week to prepare and leave my family for an unknown amount of time.
Without hesitation, Heroes’ Turn Foundation stepped in to support my family and assist with household and landscaping needs while I was away. Their support helped relieve a significant amount of stress from my family during an already difficult time and allowed me to focus fully on my mission knowing things back home were being taken care of. Even when I came home, they continued to provide for me until I had fully reintegrated back into my civilian career and at home with my family.
My family and I are extremely grateful for the kindness, professionalism, and generosity shown to us. The individuals who assisted us were respectful, dependable, and genuinely committed to helping others. Their support made a meaningful difference for my family during my deployment.
As a lifelong resident of Putnam County, it means a great deal to know that Geoff and the Heroes’ Turn Foundation are an active part of this community and remain committed to supporting local military members, veterans, first responders, and law enforcement personnel".
